Business Development Manager | Sunshading & Membrane Material | Uncapped Commission

Your New Company

Our client is a publicly listed, international manufacturer and a recognised leader in architectural and outdoor performance materials. Its sunshading fabrics and architectural membrane products are widely sold globally, trusted across building, outdoor shading and tent/membrane structure applications. The company is now expanding its Australian operations and growing its Sydney-based sales team.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for business development and account management across Australia, building long-term customer partnerships and growing market share.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and grow key accounts

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products/solutions

  • Deliver product presentations and provide technical/product guidance

  • Support customers with timely follow-up, quotes, and after-sales service

  • Collaborate with sales/marketing teams to drive market growth

  • Maintain pipeline activity and achieve sales targets

Job Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience in building materials / architectural products / outdoor solutions / related sectors

  • Target-driven, commercially minded, self-motivated

  • Ability to explain product features and value clearly

  • Distributor / multi-channel sales experience is a plus

  • Retail sales background considered if strong BD capability

  • Fluent written and verbal English is essential. Mandarin speaking skills are highly regarded, but not required.
