Sales Manager | Outdoor Products

Your New Company

Our client is a publicly listed, globally operating manufacturer in the architectural and outdoor products sector, with its own production facilities. The company supplies fabric and membrane-based solutions for commercial and residential applications through project, distributor and retail channels, and is currently expanding its Australian sales team.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for developing sales and maintaining customer relationships across the Australian market. The role involves working with architects, builders, distributors and retail customers, promoting a range of technical yet design-focused outdoor and architectural products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities to grow the customer base

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions

  • Present products clearly, including features, performance and applications

  • Provide customers with timely, accurate information and ongoing support

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to support business growth

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets

Job Requirements

  • Sales experience in building materials, outdoor or architectural products, or similar

  • Retail (To C) sales background is acceptable

  • Comfortable speaking with customers and building ongoing relationships

  • Self-motivated and able to work towards sales targets

  • Able to explain products clearly to different types of customers

  • Experience working with distributors or multiple sales channels is a plus
