Contract Administrator

Your New Role

As a Contract Administrator, you will work closely with the Construction Manager and business owner, supporting project delivery through efficient contract management, communication, and administration. This role requires strong attention to detail, multilingual ability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities

·       Assist and support the Construction Manager across all project phases.

·       Facilitate multilingual communication (English, Mandarin, Cantonese) with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

·       Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, drawings, SOWs, POs, and contracts.

·       Oversee contract risk management and compliance.

·       Administer and process subcontractor invoicing and progress claims.

·       Conduct quality assurance checks on subcontractor submissions.

·       Complete quantity take-offs and prepare tender comparisons.

·       Negotiate subcontract tenders and review associated documentation.

·       Maintain accurate document control and ensure reporting is up to date.

·       Provide regular status updates to the Construction Manager.

·       General administrative and project support duties.

Job Requirements

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction administration or contract management.

·       Multilingual: English plus fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese (essential).

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Relevant tertiary qualification in construction or a related field preferred.

·       Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Current driver’s licence and own vehicle.
