Your New Role

As the Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the company’s financial operations, including tax planning, audit coordination, project financial oversight, and management reporting. You will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insights and strategic advice to support commercial and investment decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, risk control framework, budgeting processes, and financial reporting systems.

  • Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all accounting activities.

  • Establish and improve financial policies, systems, and internal controls to identify risks and enhance financial efficiency.

  • Oversee and coordinate all tax-related matters, ensuring compliance across BAS, GST, ITR and other obligations.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure a smooth and compliant audit process.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with external partners.

  • Monitor project-level financials, including cost control, budgeting, cash-flow utilisation, and project receivables.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CPA/ACCA strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in Australia

  • Experience in property development, construction, or related sectors will be highly regarded

  • Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance, and financial reporting standards

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese
