Your New Role
We are seeking a Home Care Coordinator (Chinese Speaking) to manage day-to-day operations of the Home Ageing Services (HAS) unit. This role involves coordinating care for aged clients, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with government requirements and organisational standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Arrange home support for Chinese-speaking aged clients under HCP, CHSP, and STRC programs
- Prepare assessments, care plans, client statements, service reports, and claims
- Communicate with My Aged Care, support workers, and other stakeholders
- Provide general administrative support to the HAS unit and assist team members
- Promote services, network with community partners, and support service delivery
Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in aged care, social work, or related field (fresh graduates welcome)
- Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese (spoken and written)
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management, organisational, and teamwork abilities
- Computer literacy and attention to detail
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Police Check Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $65,000 – $78,000 per year (pro-rata for part-time)
