Your New Role
As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, assessing their unique needs, arranging appropriate insurance cover, and maintaining strong long-term relationships. This role requires excellent communication skills, bilingual ability in English and Chinese, and strong industry knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
Assess clients’ insurance needs and research suitable insurance products.
Conduct client interviews to explain policy conditions, coverage, premiums, and benefits.
Arrange insurance policies in collaboration with insurance companies.
Act on behalf of clients to place and manage various types of insurance.
Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance business with a focus on profitability.
Prepare policy renewals and contribute to client retention.
Provide claims support and ensure valid claims are processed efficiently.
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualification (mandatory).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in business/commercial insurance broking.
Familiarity with broker systems (Eclipse, Insight, Sunrise, SVU) preferred.
Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
Professional and client-focused manner with strong relationship management skills.
Degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Business preferred.
Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work independently.
Salary & Benefits
$76,515 – $80,000 per year plus superannuation.
