Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to join the team full-time. This role requires excellent technical skills, creativity, and strong communication abilities to deliver personalised services and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Cut, trim, and style hair according to client preferences and current trends.
Perform modern and traditional haircuts for men and women.
Apply lather and perform shaving using razors, including cut-throat razor techniques.
Suggest treatments to address hair and scalp issues.
Stay up to date with the latest hairstyles, techniques, and industry trends.
Promote salon products and services to clients.
Arrange and manage client appointments, maintaining accurate records.
Deliver excellent customer service in line with salon standards.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive and professional salon environment.
Job Requirements
Full Australian working rights.
Strong hands-on skills with a portfolio showcasing haircuts, styling, and colouring techniques.
Knowledge of current hair trends and the ability to deliver high-quality, personalised services.
Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Mandarin or Cantonese language skills desirable but not essential.
Salary & Benefits
$80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation plus commission
Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
