We generally do not collect sensitive information (such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or criminal records) unless it is directly relevant to an assignment and you have provided explicit consent.

5. Cross-Border Disclosure of Personal Information
Mandarin Talents Recruitment works with Australian businesses and international companies, including businesses headquartered in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, and other overseas jurisdictions.
In the course of providing recruitment services, we may disclose your personal information to recipients located outside Australia. This may include:
• Client companies or hiring managers based in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Singapore, or other jurisdictions
• Technology and platform providers operating servers outside Australia
Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we will either: (a) take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to that information; or (b) obtain your express consent to the disclosure, after informing you that APP 8.1 will not apply.
By submitting your personal information to us and engaging our services, you acknowledge that your information may be disclosed to overseas recipients as described above.

Candidate CV and personal details shared with us are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any employer without your prior knowledge and consent.

Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
To make an access or correction request, please contact us at info@mandarintalents.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. In some circumstances we may decline an access or correction request, in which case we will explain why in writing.
We do not charge a fee for making an access request. If we provide access to information, we may charge a reasonable fee for the cost of giving access (for example, photocopying or printing costs).
