Business Development Manager (Automotive Aftermarket Industry)

Your New Role

This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends business planning, customer acquisition and commercial negotiation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives, build strong client relationships, and support new product development aligned with market needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies and sales plans.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Build, manage and retain strong long-term relationships with existing clients.

  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to expand market coverage.

  • Provide customer and market insights to support product development initiatives.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of product offerings, pricing, and value propositions.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and commercial documents.

  • Negotiate with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders to secure profitable outcomes.

  • Analyse business strengths, market gaps and customer needs.

  • Research emerging market trends and viable growth channels.

  • Stay informed on local and international automotive aftermarket developments.

  • Draft, review or support contract documentation to ensure compliance.

  • Prepare reports on sales performance, pipeline progress and areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in business development, account management or internal sales, ideally within automotive or industrial trade sectors.

  • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation skills.

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement capability.

  • Analytical thinking, accuracy, and strong follow-through.

  • Positive, self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.

  • A valid driver’s licence.
