Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to oversee procurement contracts, manage supplier negotiations, and ensure compliance with commercial and legal obligations. This role is critical in supporting operational efficiency, minimising risks, and ensuring smooth supplier performance across the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, interpret, and review contract documentation for procurement of flooring products and accessories

  • Negotiate contract terms with local and international suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics providers

  • Advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risks

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and delivery standards

  • Ensure compliance with legislation, environmental standards, and company policies

  • Maintain accurate records of active contracts, amendments, and renewals

  • Prepare management reports on contract status, performance, and key deadlines

  • Manage contract variations and disputes, drafting variation notices and liaising with stakeholders

  • Support process improvement initiatives for contract management systems and practices

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in contract administration or commercial procurement

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement, and risk management principles

  • Proven ability in contract negotiation, supplier monitoring, and dispute resolution

  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese (verbal and written)

  • Experience in construction materials, building supply, or wholesale distribution is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with Australian industry standards, safety, and environmental compliance

  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and initiative

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $78,000 – $83,000 per year

  • Permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday
