Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced and bilingual Financial Manager (Mandarin Speaking) to lead the finance function of the Australian joint venture. This role is responsible for ensuring financial and tax compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, managing integration projects, and leading a small finance team. The successful candidate will report to senior executives and liaise closely with group headquarters.
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee financial and tax compliance in accordance with AASB and IFRS
• Provide financial analysis and decision support for business strategy
• Lead financial system integration projects and act as key user
• Support group reporting and disclosure requirements for the listed parent company
• Prepare budgets, monitor performance, and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Collaborate across multicultural teams, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or related field (Australian education preferred)
• CPA Australia qualification required; ACCA or other international certifications advantageous
• Minimum 3 years of financial management experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations, AASB, and IFRS
• Proven expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (mandatory)
• Experience working in multinational or joint venture environments
• Strong cross-cultural communication and team leadership skills
Salary & Benefits
• Competitive monthly salary in the range of $10,000 – $15,000 AUD
