HR Coordinator

As the business expands, they are seeking an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to support HR operations and employee engagement across the group.

Your New Role

In this role, you will support day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and payroll coordination. Working closely with leaders across Operations, Warehouse, and Sales, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring smooth HR processes and a positive employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.

  • Prepare employment contracts, onboarding packs, and maintain accurate personnel files.

  • Support employee inductions, training arrangements, and probation tracking.

  • Manage HR records, leave requests, and assist with performance review processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES, Awards, and WHS regulations.

  • Assist with payroll accuracy and timesheet processing (Xero / KeyPay).

  • Support internal communications and staff engagement activities.

  • Prepare HR reports and metrics on turnover, absenteeism, and training completion.

  • Provide general HR and administrative support to managers and staff.

Job Requirements

  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR coordination or administration within Australia.

  • Sound understanding of Fair Work, NES, and basic WHS principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency will be highly regarded.

  • Proficient in MS Office and HR/payroll systems (Xero / KeyPay).

  • Proactive, people-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
