HR Manager

Your New Role
As the first dedicated HR Manager, you will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle and implement scalable HR systems across the business. You will partner closely with leaders in Operations, Warehouse, and Sales to ensure compliance, strengthen performance, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Advise and coach managers on performance, conduct, and team development.
Manage probation, reviews, performance improvement, and succession planning.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES, Awards, and WHS regulations.
Oversee safety reporting, return-to-work, and toolbox meetings.
Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and handbooks.
Promote a strong, inclusive culture and mediate workplace issues.
Support payroll accuracy and remuneration frameworks.
Develop training, onboarding programs, and L&D initiatives.
Track and report HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement.
Job Requirements
2+ years of generalist HR experience in Australia.
Strong knowledge of Fair Work, NES, Awards, and WHS compliance.
Experience building HR processes from scratch within SME or multi-site environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to coach staff.
High level of written and spoken English; confident in drafting policies and documentation.
Right to work in Australia.
Mandarin language skills to support a multicultural workforce.
Experience in automotive, wholesale, warehousing, or e-commerce sectors.
Exposure to payroll systems (Xero/KeyPay) and rostering.
Training design and facilitation experience..
