HR Generalist

Your New Role
As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR functions across the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, performance, and engagement. You will partner closely with department leaders in Operations, Warehouse, and Sales to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Manage probation tracking, performance review processes, and training coordination.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES, and Award requirements.
Oversee WHS reporting, return-to-work processes, and safety initiatives.
Support payroll accuracy, leave management, and timesheet verification (Xero/KeyPay).
Provide HR advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications.
Assist in policy development, HR reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
Job Requirements
2+ years of HR generalist or HR coordination experience in Australia.
Sound knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES, and WHS compliance.
Experience in developing and improving HR processes and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.
High level of written and spoken English; Mandarin language skills highly regarded.
Experience with HR or payroll systems such as Xero or KeyPay preferred.
Strong organisational skills, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
