Your New Role
We are seeking a motivated Small Business Banker to join the Inner East Melbourne team. In this role, you will support small business and retail customers with lending solutions, manage portfolios, and develop strong customer relationships to drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage small business lending requests up to $2 million and home lending up to $5 million
- Provide tailored banking solutions by understanding customer needs
- Grow revenue while maintaining customer advocacy and satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with customers, retail branches, and broker networks
- Simplify processes to deliver fast, seamless customer experiences
- Contribute to making the organisation the bank of choice for small businesses
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in business or retail banking with exposure to lending
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills
- Fluency in Mandarin highly advantageous to support diverse SME clients
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and critical thinking abilities
- Motivation to empower customers to achieve their business goals
- Understanding of the culturally diverse SME market
