Your New Role
We are seeking both an Assistant Store Manager and a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a new store in Melbourne CBD. These roles require strong leadership, operational efficiency, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Manage staff rostering and scheduling in compliance with labour regulations.
Conduct staff training on food preparation, safety, and customer service.
Oversee stock management including ordering, monitoring, and minimising wastage.
Operate the ABACUS POS system (or similar) for order processing, cash handling, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with opening/closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and security protocols.
Provide hands-on support with food preparation, packaging, and serving during peak times.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with staff and customers in both English and Mandarin.
Introduce and demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to the kitchen team.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a leadership role within the quick service or restaurant industry.
Familiarity with ABACUS POS (or equivalent) highly regarded.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Excellent leadership qualities to train, motivate, and manage staff.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
Availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends.
Salary & Benefits
$60,000 – $68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
